Mammaplasty or breast modeling is a surgery that improves sagging and weakened breasts and gives breasts its original shape. The client is therefore generally happy with overall breast size, but only wants a modification of the breast shape, when the wish is a complete lift, firming up, filling and overall improvement of sagging breasts or skin quality. With such modeling the breast volume stays the same, only the shape is modified. However, at the client request we can also perform breast reduction, possible reduction of large breast areolae.

The reasons why breasts change shape can vary, most frequently changes in shape occur mainly after childbirth and nursing, hormonal changes, but also a greater weight reduction. There can also be development defects or post illness conditions.

Augmentation mammaplasty or in other words a breast lift modifies excess skin (if a breast reduction is also performed, then part of the mammary gland is also reduced). There are several options for such a breast lift and they are dependent on the drop and size of breast. The size and the direction of the scar, which can remain following such a breast lift depends on the same, and also on the selection of suitable procedure. These scars in the form of thin lines can remain around the areola, or can lead from the areola down to the groove under the breast or run through the groove bellow the breast. Everything depends in the extent of modeling.

The surgery itself is performed following a complex pre op examination under total anesthesia depending on its complexity about 2 hours. The ensuing hospitalization lasts 1 to 2 days.
